internet and price for internet was exorbitant.
We were quite satisfied with the cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. Our only disappointments were conveniences: 1. The hotel's website stated that parking was available at the hotel for 15 Euro per day. After arriving, we were informed that the parking was not at the hotel, but rather across the street at a public parking area at a price of 55 Euro per day. Disappointing. 2. On the hotel's website, it stated that internet service was available, but stated nothing about the cost of the service. Upon arrival, we discovered that the cost per day for internet was 17 Euro per day. Again, disappointing. We pay for a 4-star hotel and can't get free WiFi? This hotel is close to a train station, a great starting point for Amsterdam tourists, and has a great staff. The room was comfortable.

The drawers in the hotel room were all open - felt like the room had been ramsacked when we walked in - bad ambiance. The beds weren't made up.

Our experience at this hotel was good and we would stay here again. But, the beds were horrible. Their beds are two twin beds pushed together to form a large king sized bed. Both beds had multiple springs sticking up, which made sleeping uncomfortable. The location is great- right across from train station. The bar and restaurant inside the hotel are excellent and reasonably priced. McDonald's is also a quick walk down the street. ...read more

This hotel does not deserve a 4* rating. The room we had was large with 2 small beds. Hardly any other furniture in the room. Bath room was the size of 3 phone booths. Only a shower, no tub. We have pictures if you would like to see it for yourself. There may be other rooms in the hotel that are plus but I honestly feel that they use a BAIT AND SWITCH APPROACH. A clean and comfortable hotel safe and with friendly staff. Rooms a little dated and some maintenance needed. Nothing serious but it does not meet US standards for a 4
